- Own your words. Your blog lives at blogshepherd.com/@yourhandle, and every post can be exported as JSON or Markdown at any time from your settings page. Your words are yours - take them with you wherever you go.
- Follow writers you enjoy. Their new posts appear first in your home feed.
- Vote and talk. The arrows next to every post are real votes from real readers, and every post has a comment thread.
- Share by email. Readers can subscribe to a writer by email. Publishing with the "send to my email subscribers" option queues the post for delivery; email delivery integration is on the way, and queued posts will be delivered once it goes live.
- Explore topics - Nature, Essays, Journals, Recipes, Reflections, Technology, Business, Life - or declare a topic of your own.
